At UMass, the sheer size of the student body creates more going on every weekend, with a mix of dorm gatherings, off-campus parties, bars in the area for students of age, and plenty of non-party events. Bucknell is social too, but because it is smaller and more residential, the scene can feel tighter and more repetitive from weekend to weekend.

One major difference is scale. UMass Amherst has a large public-university energy, so there are usually more people, more friend groups, and more types of nightlife happening at once.
