University of Washington vs NYU for internships: which school has better internship opportunities?
I’m trying to decide between University of Washington and NYU, and one of my biggest concerns is internship access. I want a school where it’s realistic to find good internships during the school year and over the summer, especially in a major city or strong industry network.
I know both schools have different locations and campus cultures, so I’m mainly trying to understand which one tends to give students stronger internship opportunities overall.

The biggest practical tradeoff is New York City access versus a strong but more regionally concentrated Seattle network. NYU makes in-semester internships unusually convenient because students are already in Manhattan, close to finance, media, fashion, entertainment, consulting, nonprofits, startups, and major corporate offices.
