Olin Business School is respected, and WashU places well into finance, consulting, and related fields, especially for students who are proactive. It can be a strong choice for someone who values a more balanced campus culture, might want to explore beyond finance, or is interested in combining business with other academic strengths.

The main tradeoff is that WashU’s geography is less plugged into the day-to-day East Coast finance scene, so students often need to be more intentional about networking and recruiting travel.
