Which school is better for undergraduate research opportunities: Georgetown or University of Rochester?

For a student drawn to those areas, Georgetown can be exceptionally rich, but the opportunities are a bit more concentrated by discipline and may require more initiative to navigate.

If you mean research in the broadest undergraduate sense across departments, especially with easier early access to faculty and labs, Rochester is the stronger answer. Georgetown becomes more compelling when the research you want is tied to D.C.-based policy, international relations, or advocacy-oriented work.
