Tufts vs Brandeis for psychology: which is better for an undergraduate psych major?

For undergraduate psychology specifically, Brandeis has a very strong reputation. Its psychology program is one of the school’s better-known strengths, and the university’s size can make it easier for undergrads to connect with professors, join labs, and feel plugged into the department earlier.

Tufts is also a strong place to study psychology, especially if you want the benefits of a somewhat broader university environment. You may find more cross-disciplinary flexibility, strong adjacent fields, and a campus atmosphere that can feel a bit more expansive.
