What is the social scene like at Princeton vs Dartmouth?

The biggest practical difference is that Dartmouth’s social life is more centralized and campus-contained, while Princeton’s is broader and less dominated by one social structure. At Dartmouth, a lot of weekend activity revolves around Greek life, outdoor culture, and the fact that most students stay on or near campus in a small town. At Princeton, social life is shaped more by eating clubs for upperclass students, residential college communities, student organizations, and access to both campus traditions and nearby off-campus options.

Daily life at Dartmouth often feels more immersive and close-knit. Hanover is small, so students tend to run into the same people often, and the campus can feel very all-in socially, especially on weekends.
