Is Rice easier to get into than Yale for college admissions?

Yes. In the usual admissions sense, Yale is harder to get into than Rice. Yale is one of the most selective universities in the country, draws a very large global applicant pool, and tends to have an especially intense concentration of applicants with top grades, rigorous coursework, and major extracurricular distinction.

Rice is also extremely selective, so it should still be treated as a reach for almost everyone.
