UChicago vs Carnegie Mellon for statistics: which is better for an undergraduate stats major?

I’m trying to decide between UChicago and Carnegie Mellon for statistics, and I’m mostly focused on the undergrad experience in the major. I want a program that is strong academically but also gives good support, research opportunities, and preparation for grad school or jobs in data and stats.

Since both schools seem strong in different ways, I’m trying to understand how they compare for a stats major in terms of teaching, course depth, and overall fit.
