Is UC Berkeley or Wake Forest better for college advising support?

Students are more likely to get direct attention, easier appointment access, and a more structured advising relationship rather than having to navigate a huge system on their own. That tends to matter a lot for someone who wants regular check-ins and clear guidance rather than only seeking help when a problem comes up.

Career advising also leans in Wake Forest’s favor for accessibility. Berkeley offers enormous career opportunities because of its location, alumni network, and employer interest, but those advantages do not always translate into a hands-on advising experience for every student.

Berkeley can absolutely work well for independent students who are comfortable navigating a large institution and using resources strategically. But for a student specifically prioritizing consistent, personal advising support, Wake Forest has the clearer edge.
