Rice vs. Stanford for physics: which is better for undergraduate research opportunities?

I’m trying to choose between Rice and Stanford for physics and I care a lot about getting involved in research as an undergrad. I know both are strong schools, but I’m trying to understand which one tends to be better for a student who wants hands-on physics research early on.
