Wake Forest offers a more intimate feel, close faculty access, and a business program that is very well regarded, particularly for students who want strong advising and a tighter-knit campus experience.

For undergraduate business specifically, Notre Dame often has the edge in professional pull. The Mendoza College of Business is highly visible to employers, and Notre Dame’s alumni network is one of its biggest advantages when it comes to internships, mentorship, and job searches in major markets like Chicago, New York, and other large cities. If you are interested in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or national-level recruiting, Notre Dame is usually the school with more built-in momentum.

Wake Forest is still excellent, especially if you value smaller classes and closer relationships with professors and career staff. Its business school has a strong reputation and can place students well, but the recruiting footprint is a bit less expansive nationally than Notre Dame’s.
