LSU fits students who want high-energy campus life and don’t mind a louder, more extroverted social scene. Football is a major part of student life, and in Baton Rouge that spills into weekends, school spirit, and off-campus social activity in a big way. It can be easier to meet people casually because there are so many shared events and a strong culture around showing up for campus traditions.

Baylor is social too, but it usually feels more structured and community-based than all-out high volume. It tends to suit students who want an active campus with plenty of student organizations, traditions, and friend groups, but in a setting that is a bit more contained and intentionally shaped by the school’s Christian identity.
