What is campus life like at MIT compared with Wellesley College?

The biggest day-to-day tradeoff is intensity versus intimacy. MIT tends to feel larger, faster, and more project-driven, with a campus culture shaped by labs, problem sets, hacks, and a strong maker energy. Wellesley feels smaller, more residential, and more close-knit, with a campus life centered around community, discussion, traditions, and the experience of living on a self-contained liberal arts campus.

At MIT, student life is busy and often very scheduled.
