Boston University is the better pick for pre-med if your priority is the strongest overall infrastructure for medical school preparation. BU has a deeper concentration of pre-health resources, a major academic medical center environment through Boston Medical Center, and much broader access to hospital, research, and biotech opportunities right around campus. For a student who wants maximum volume and variety of pre-med experiences, BU usually offers more.

One big differentiator is clinical and research access. BU students are in a city packed with hospitals, labs, public health organizations, and biomedical employers, and BU itself is closely tied to major medical and research institutions. That makes it easier to find shadowing, volunteering, clinical exposure, and lab work without needing to rely on a small local network or limited number of placements.

Another difference is the scale of the pre-med ecosystem.
