For some students, that proximity is a major practical advantage.

What keeps UNC ahead is that its undergraduate business program tends to carry more weight nationally as a destination business school, not just as a large public university with a business major. If you are comparing them primarily on the perceived strength of the business program itself, employer recognition, and the concentration of high-level recruiting, UNC comes out in front.

The main caution is that UNC business is not a guaranteed direct-entry path for every student, so that internal application process matters.
