For advising, WashU is extremely well built for premeds. It has a long-established prehealth advising structure and a large population of students all aiming at medicine, so the systems around committee letters, application timing, and med school preparation are very developed.

For research and clinical preparation, WashU is hard to beat. Being tied closely to WashU Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital gives students unusually direct access to medical research and clinical settings.
