Carey School of Business is well respected and places students well, especially in the Southwest, but Michigan tends to open more doors nationally and in fields where prestige and recruiting pipelines matter.

Another differentiator is peer environment and selectivity within the business program. Ross is known for a highly driven student culture, strong group-project learning, and a curriculum built around action-based business education. W. P. Carey offers excellent practical training too, but Michigan is more often seen as the place with the denser concentration of students aiming for top-tier business outcomes, which can shape networking, internships, and classroom energy.
