Clemson’s value is more tied to the undergraduate experience, school culture, and access to hands-on learning in a setting that often feels less overwhelming.

On career opportunities, Purdue usually has the edge. Its engineering college is one of the schools employers consistently know well, and that matters for internships, co-ops, and first-job visibility, especially if you want flexibility across industries or think you may end up outside the Southeast.
