The campus is large, active, and self-contained in a way that feels distinctly collegiate, with residence halls, student spaces, athletic events, and lots of people around throughout the week. If you picture a traditional college experience with busy quads, packed football Saturdays, and a visible sense of school identity, Maryland usually delivers that more clearly than Georgetown.
