UT Austin vs Texas A&M for internships: which school has stronger internship opportunities?

UT Austin has the edge for internships overall, mainly because of its location in Austin and the breadth of employers that recruit there across tech, business, government, media, and startups. Being in a major and fast-growing city makes in-semester internships much more accessible, and UT students can often work part-time during the school year without needing to relocate. UT also benefits from a very large alumni presence in Austin and strong on-campus recruiting in fields where proximity matters.

Austin itself is a major differentiator.
