At UCLA, student life is woven into Westwood and greater Los Angeles, so the energy comes from a dense campus, constant activity, and easy access to internships, concerts, restaurants, and city life. At UCSB, the setting shapes everything: the campus sits right on the coast, Isla Vista is immediately next door, and day-to-day life tends to revolve around the beach, bikes, and a more laid-back social rhythm.
