Stanford vs CMU for computer engineering: which is better for undergraduate CE?

I’m a high school senior trying to narrow down my college list, and Stanford and CMU keep coming up for computer engineering.

I know both are strong, but I’m trying to understand the general difference in reputation and fit for an undergrad who wants a solid computer engineering education.
