Case Western is especially appealing for the student who wants medicine to be central to college from the start. The school’s proximity to its affiliated medical ecosystem means you do not have to work as hard logistically to build a strong pre-med resume. That matters because pre-med is not only about classes and MCAT prep, but also about finding sustained patient-facing and research experiences without spending years fighting for entry points.
