Syracuse tends to fit the student who wants sports and campus energy to be front-and-center in the college experience. Orange pride is highly visible, and major athletic events often feel like shared campus occasions rather than just something one part of the student body follows. Rutgers makes more sense for a student who likes having school spirit available, but not necessarily as the defining feature of campus life.
