Which school has a stronger alumni network, Yale or Dartmouth?

The biggest practical tradeoff is breadth versus closeness. If you want to reach into a wide range of fields or cities, Yale can open a huge number of doors, and the Yale name carries weight in many professional settings.

A student who is proactive will likely do well with either network, but the experience can feel different: Dartmouth often feels like people are eager to help because you are part of a smaller club, while Yale can feel more like a vast, influential web that rewards targeted outreach.
