Ohio State vs North Carolina for business: which is better for a business major?

For undergraduate business, North Carolina has the edge for overall reputation and recruiting reach, while Ohio State is especially compelling if you want a very large business school with deep corporate connections in the Midwest.

One concrete difference is how each business school is positioned academically. Kenan-Flagler is known for a more selective, high-prestige undergraduate business experience and has strong visibility in areas like finance, consulting, and marketing. Fisher offers a broad, well-resourced program with lots of majors, student organizations, and practical opportunities, but UNC usually lands a bit higher in how people perceive undergrad business strength.

Internships are strong at both, but the surrounding ecosystem feels different.
