Is Indiana University or Emory University considered more prestigious?

Emory University is typically seen as more prestigious overall. It has a stronger national reputation for selectivity, is more commonly grouped with highly selective private research universities, and carries especially strong name recognition in areas like pre-med, public health, and the liberal arts.

One big differentiator is admissions profile and institutional perception.
