Does the University of Delaware require SAT scores for admission?

I’m a junior trying to figure out where I should submit test scores and where I can apply test optional. I saw mixed info online and wanted to know whether the University of Delaware actually requires the SAT for applicants.

I’m trying to plan my application list without assuming I need scores everywhere.

No. If you apply without scores, your application is still reviewed for admission, and UD will focus on the rest of your academic record.

For Delaware, the most important pieces become your transcript, course rigor, grades, and the other required application materials. If you do submit scores, they can still be considered, so strong SAT results may help support your application, but they are not mandatory for general admission.

One practical detail to watch is that some special programs, scholarships, or certain applicant situations can have their own requirements, so it is worth checking the exact page for your major or scholarship. But for standard undergraduate admission, you can treat the University of Delaware as test-optional rather than test-required.
