Anne George grew up in Queens, New York, and is currently a Neuroscience Ph.D. student at Yale University. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2021 with a double major in Neuroscience and Anthropology.

Anne began working with students as a volunteer college access advisor at Dartmouth, supporting first-generation and low-income high schoolers through the application process. She later tutored for the ACT, SAT, and AP exams at Livius Prep and offered private counseling for students applying to colleges and graduate programs.

I work closely with students to develop essays that are not only well-written, but also genuinely reflective of who they are. From the first brainstorm to the final draft, I offer tailored support at every stage — helping clarify ideas, strengthen structure, and refine tone and language. My approach combines thoughtful questions that draw out your voice with clear, actionable feedback to elevate your writing. In addition to essay advising, I help students think strategically about where to apply, making sure they're targeting programs and environments where they can truly thrive.

With experience in both academic research and highly competitive admissions, I also work with applicants applying to graduate and professional programs. I understand what selective schools are looking for and how to navigate those expectations without losing sight of what makes each applicant unique.
