Hi! My name is Jonathan Sung, and I have over ten years of experience helping students achieve their dreams in college, graduate, and medical school admissions. I offer a full range of consulting services throughout the admissions process, from building a school list, writing resumes, reviewing essays, and preparing for interviews. I have particular expertise in the health sciences, including pre-medical/combined programs, allied health professions, and public health. From 2018 to 2024, I worked with CollegeVine as an Applications and Independent Educational Consultant, where my students (clients) had a range of intended majors from pre-medical/combined BS-MD programs and engineering to English and economics. I'm proud to have helped them gain admission to schools such as the Brown Program in Liberal Medical Education, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Duke, Georgetown, Texas A&M, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as the Universities of Michigan, Illinois, Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Colorado, and California. Outside of my day job in public health, I enjoy exploring restaurants and hiking trails, game nights, and traveling. I look forward to working with you!

My advising philosophy is "consult, counsel, cheerlead," and my mission is to ensure that my clients have the confidence to succeed at whichever school they choose to attend. I love listening to clients' personal goals and stories, and helping them reflect on what they want their college journey to look like.
